I'm running adventures for a middle school roleplaying club and they kept asking for adventures dealing with stuff from this era. Thought that edition might be hard for them, but this book and the wonderful character sheets makes it very easy. Thanks for making this!
I'm currently playing a 1998 TSR adventure with Rites of Transmutation. I like that sense of familiarity with what remains of the original system, that nostalgia I feel seeing those tables or words mixed with the agility of modern approaches. It's the best of both worlds. Highly recommended, whether you're a veteran adventurer or just taking your first steps. It is a fresh air of ancient times, of memories that remain and never leave us.
